I am an experienced clinician with over 10 years working in the higher education sector. I understand the concerns that students bringing to HE counselling services: anxiety, low mood, risk and identity issues. I recognise the very real constraints on working in this setting with limited resources and the importance to ethical practitioners of providing a therapeutic and ethical counselling service.

Private Practice

Working in private practice can sometimes be an isolating experience. I know how important it is to have a supervisor who helps to ground your practice and support you in your work. From my own experience I understand that a supervisor can provide the bedrock that allows the therapist to do the best for their clients

I can supervise those working for organisations, either as trainees or qualified practitioners. I understand that organisations have policies and procedures that impact how therapists practice. I can support you in working ethically and effectively with clients to achieve the best outcomes.
